When asked about yourself - Do you give up your career persona?

When asked about yourself - Do you give up your career persona? This question is worth pondering over - for the next time your asked!

When asked about yourself -
Do you give up your career persona?

____________________________________________________

What if your answer is more along the lines... What you've discovered about yourself over the years?

In terms of your meaning and calling. You know the things that make you come alive!

Blaise Pascal said,

"There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man that can only be filled by God the Creator, through His Son Jesus."

The next time someone wants to know about you - Can you enlighten them with more then I am a Engineer, Nurse, Construction Worker...

God is proud of your career and obviously so, but He has you there for more then Electronics, using your Lottmann Stethoscop, or Climbing Steel Beams.

We all look forward to Nurses and Teachers week, but what if God is speaking to your heart and asking for a Bold Witness week?

You would not still be reading this if the Lord were not asking more of you... Was His death for you and your family a secret?

Research Pascal 1623 -1662

Doing this is a great way to open up the possibly of life long friendships and meaningful relationships.

What if among your social elite this is what they are really thirsty for?

They see your faith and want the light of Christ to be shared!

Are they really seeking and asking in their own heartfelt way?

Do you know most people want to be invited to church.

What is your true calling?

Can you seriously consider the impact and opportunities your life has?

This is a get to your knees and pray question?

This 2016 be a bold witness for the Lord Jesus Christ!

From this day forward you're going to be challenged to give the correct responses.

You are no longer the same person that started reading this post two minutes ago!

Maybe living your dreams is just a fantasy of yours.

You're coming back as a cow, goat, snake or chicken?

You don't believe Adam and Eve were the fist humans born.

You don't believe that Joseph was sold into slavery.

You don't believe Noah was now six hundred one years old and built a boat.

You don't believe God put a curse on anyone that got in Abrams way.

You don't believe Sarah had a son exactly at the time God had said Abraham named your son Isaac.

You believe your neighbor is a good cook but not Esau?

You don't believe Potiphar liked Joseph.

You don't believe the Egyptians put slave bosses in charge of the people of Israel, and Moses killed one of these bosses and ran, therefore God parting the Red Sea - O' ya your believing science and the curse lie they got across because of drought.

Have you been to Sinai, the holy mountain - I bet if you were to go you'd think twice about a burning bush - I bet your heart would be touched and you'd even take off your sandals considering the ground where you are standing holy.

You believe satans not only made Moses and Aaron, but made plagues to cover Egypt.

(I will continue later, but do you see you're being called to Jesus Christ)?

Yes your lord has never raised from the dead.

How can you dispute the Bible and these documented truths?

This should encourage us to to witness every-time possible!

O' I get it - you've lived a full life at age 40 and ready to party in hell with lucifier and his demonic hedgeman.

Are you willing to find some great people that finished well?

Do you know your loved ones in heaven are cheering you on!

Jesus is praying for you now...

Do you have what it takes to find a church and a mentor?

Where do you see yourself in 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022?

Do you believe you were made for more?

What your looking for are eternal results that fill this void?

God made you to do good works!
These works I'm talking about God made in advance!

I challenge you to actively engage so that when your transferred from earth the heaven (Rapture) you'll be able to say I found my calling and pursued it!

Food for thought don't take all your advice from ordinary people.

Live a live where it's like walking on water.

In Christ name!

Without doubt your cared for and loved.

The Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.
In its original form it read:
"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1923, the words, "the Flag of the United States of America" were added. At this time it read:
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy's daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Section 4 of the Flag Code states:
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."
The original Bellamy salute, first described in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, who authored the original Pledge, began with a military salute, and after reciting the words "to the flag," the arm was extended toward the flag.
At a signal from the Principal the pupils, in ordered ranks, hands to the side, face the Flag. Another signal is given; every pupil gives the flag the military salute — right hand lifted, palm downward, to a line with the forehead and close to it. Standing thus, all repeat together, slowly, "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all." At the words, "to my Flag," the right hand is extended gracefully, palm upward, toward the Flag, and remains in this gesture till the end of the affirmation; whereupon all hands immediately drop to the side.
The Youth's Companion, 1892
Shortly thereafter, the pledge was begun with the right hand over the heart, and after reciting "to the Flag," the arm was extended toward the Flag, palm-down.
In World War II, the salute too much resembled the Nazi salute, so it was changed to keep the right hand over the heart throughout.

Why Should We read the Bible?
The Bible is the written word of God. Don't you think that it is worth looking into at the very least? The Bible has impacted the lives of people from the first time it was written. And, it has application today. To learn how the Bible applies to life today simply open it up!
Doing something special in your life
She was up at her parents house the other night
Her Dad shared a story about her when she was seven or ten.
They went out with this boat into this lake.
They fished all day and caught nothing.
On the way back Sue still wanted to put her little rod in.
Dad said it's okay let her troll on the way back it does not matter.
So they put her pole or line out there and sure enough a little bite.
Sue is reeling it in - whatever it is.
It was to hard to reel so Sue ask her Dad for help.
Dad stopped the boat and came back there to help his daughter.
It was difficult for him to pull it in but he tried and tried.
It was a fish so huge as wide as a open newspaper.
Sue caught this big fish as a child.
Are you getting this?
Their is a application for your life.
Some of you are getting it right now.
So they came back to the shore.
Everyone looked at that one fish in the boat.
There was not a boat full but one fish.
The child was so proud she hooked it.
The people said that is ridiculous their is not fish that big.
We have never seen one that big.
Dad says well I don't know she caught it.
So in all that - Sue says to you and I...
The lake that God wants you in.
The area the specific town.
He will lead and guide you.
By the desires and burdens of your heart.
Wherever, whatever it is
The next assignment - you will not begin what you need to do.
Until those doors are closed.
Those might be doors that were comfortable.
Door you have been waiting to have closed.
Everything is going wrong and you don't understand.
You don't understand why because it was good for so long.
All of a sudden now it's like chaos.
God is shutting those doors for a specific reason.
So that He can put that suddenly in your life.
So that you can hook that fish.
You can be successful in that area.
That no one has seen success with that magnitude before.
If you have a Joseph anointing your going to be used in the secular world.
Joseph was not even in Israel - he was slaved sold in another country.

 Joseph and His Brothers
1Jacob lived in the land of Canaan, where his father Isaac had lived, 2and this is the story of his family.   When Jacob's son Joseph was seventeen years old, he took care of the sheep with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah. But he was always telling his father all sorts of bad things about his brothers. 3Jacob loved Joseph more than he did any of his other sons, because Joseph was born after Jacob was very old. Jacob had given Joseph a fancy coat 4to show that he was his favorite son, and so Joseph's brothers hated him and would not be friendly to him.5One day, Joseph told his brothers what he had dreamed, and they hated him even more.6Joseph said, "Let me tell you about my dream. 7We were out in the field, tying up bundles of wheat. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles gathered around and bowed down to it."
8His brothers asked, "Do you really think you are going to be king and rule over us?" Now they hated Joseph more than ever because of what he had said about his dream.
9Joseph later had another dream, and he told his brothers, "Listen to what else I dreamed. The sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowed down to me."
10When he told his father about this dream, his father became angry and said, "What's that supposed to mean? Are your mother and I and your brothers all going to come and bow down in front of you?" 11Joseph's brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept wondering about the dream

36Meanwhile, the Midianites had sold Joseph in Egypt to a man named Potiphar, who was the king's official in charge of the palace guard.

Moral of the story is to never give up and even if you don't understand everything that is going on - trust God because He is your friend and He is doing something special in your life.

Let's join the crowds trudging out toward the Dead Sea, listen with me at the back of this massive group of people listening as John the Baptist preaches. They have come into the region to the immediate West of the Dead Sea - an utterly barren desert. This area was known as the realm of the Jewish sect of the Essenes, and they had significant communities in this region. Of course, there is no biblical evidence to suggest that John was in any way connected with that sect. John also seems to have preached near the northern end of this region, close by where the Jordan flows into the Dead Sea, rather than midway down the shore.
John was the last of the old, as well as a messenger of the new. As he stood thundering the call to repentance, he pointed to the Lamb of God who by one sacrifice would pay the sufficient price for the sin of the world. His powerful words are recorded by God, through the eyes and ears of Peter, by the hand of Mark, and under the inspiration of God, and can be found in Mark 1:4-8.
What was John's message?
It was simply, Repent. This is no mere academic change of mind, nor mere regret or remorse. John the Baptist spoke of repentance as a radical turning from sin that inevitably became manifest in the fruit of righteousness. The symbolism of John’s baptism likely had its roots in OT purification rituals (Leviticus 15:13). Baptism had also long been administered to Gentile proselytes coming into Judaism. The baptism of John thus powerfully and dramatically symbolized repentance. Jews accepting John’s baptism were admitting they had been as Gentiles and needed to become the people of God genuinely, inwardly (an amazing admission, given their hatred of Gentiles).

On Aug. 24, 1572 – St. Bartholomew’s Day – and several days thereafter, Frenchmen slaughtered 100,000 of their Huguenot countrymen throughout France – 10,000 in Paris alone. The favorite disposal site, the Seine, the Rhone, and the rivers of France were stained red by the oozing corpses left rotting.
Another 6,000 slain downriver in Rouen would have injected the Seine with a fetid ribbon of crimson as it meandered towards the Atlantic. The Loire River valley, so strewn with corpses, brought normally shy and unseen packs of wolves streaming down from their cover in the hills to feed on the freshly killed. The fish from the rivers of France would be unsafe to eat for months.
This incident, known as the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, would be the bloodiest week in the history of the Huguenots – French Protestants – and the blackest day in French history. Their story is marked by unrelenting episodes of harassments, property seizures, tortures, executions, and slaughters.
While spurned in feudal France, their ideas borne from their Calvinistic Christianity would eventually triumph in the formation of America. Their steadfast faith in the face of death is an everlasting testimony to the church in all ages.

Doing the work of an evangelist-pastor means we preach sin as damning, the cross as necessary, the blood as cleansing, the resurrection as fact and the second coming as expectant. It means we preach the doctrines of the scriptures from, "In the beginning," to "Surely I come quickly." Forget those with itching ears and preach to those with itching hearts. It is not the teaching of fables that will turn the world to Christ. It is, however, the preaching of the Word by those who are willing to do the work of an evangelist that will turn many to righteousness. May it be so!
